Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to all use of Preferium's websites, the Dashboard, APIs, AI functions, edge delivery and white-label services. For agencies that resell the Service, the Agency and White-label Addendum governs resale and white-label use for End Customers. The Customer is responsible for its own users, agency clients, End Customers, content, instructions and domains.

The policy forms part of a service agreement when the specific version is identified in the accepted Order or an actually signed document. The fact that the policy can be read on the website does not by itself mean that a visitor has entered into a service agreement. Statutory prohibitions apply regardless of contract formation.

The Services may not be used for unlawful, infringing, misleading or discriminatory activity; malware, phishing, fraud, spam or unauthorized access; breaches of privacy, intellectual property or confidentiality; harassment, exploitation or sexual material involving minors; or circumvention of security, usage limits or access controls.

The Customer must not upload raw card data, passwords, special categories of personal data, criminal-conviction data, children's data or other high-risk data unless this has been approved in writing and the necessary safeguards are documented.

The following is prohibited:

• cloaking intended to mislead users or manipulate ranking
• hidden text, hidden links, doorway pages or misleading redirects
• misleading structured data, fake authorship or fake reviews
• scaled production, scraping, rewriting or translation primarily to manipulate search without independent value for people
• site-reputation abuse, link schemes or other breaches of the applicable search platform rules
• claiming that Preferium or the Customer is approved, certified or endorsed by Google or another platform without written documentation

Content must be useful to people, factually responsible and subject to appropriate editorial control.

The Service is intended for technical search optimization, content assistance and visibility measurement. Unlawful use and practices prohibited under applicable AI legislation are not permitted. Preferium cannot approve exceptions from such statutory prohibitions.

Use for biometrics, emotion recognition, social scoring or decisions about employment, education, credit, insurance, healthcare, essential public or private services, policing, migration or the administration of justice lies outside the ordinary Service. Where the use is not already prohibited by law, written prior approval and a documented legal and technical assessment are required before it can be agreed. Approval cannot replace statutory requirements or change who is responsible under the law.

The Customer must ensure appropriate human oversight, AI literacy among operators, the necessary transparency notices and fact-checking. Deepfakes, deceptive impersonation and non-consensual intimate synthetic material are prohibited.

The Customer may only connect domains, data sources and third-party accounts that the Customer has a documented right to administer. Credentials must be kept secret, least-privilege access must be used, and compromised access must be reported immediately. The Customer must not reverse engineer, copy, publicly benchmark in a misleading way, resell without a right to do so, or use the Service to build a competing model or service.

The Service may not be made available to sanctioned persons or prohibited territories, or used for prohibited military, weapons, nuclear, chemical, biological or other controlled purposes. The Customer must provide reasonable diligence information and report changes that affect its sanctions or export status.

Preferium may investigate suspected abuse and request information, reject output, roll back or quarantine changes, restrict functions or suspend the minimum necessary part of the Service. In the event of urgent security, legal or third-party risk we may act without prior notice. Otherwise notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure are normally given.

Serious or repeated breaches may lead to termination without refund of the current period. Preferium is not liable for loss caused by enforcement measures taken in good faith under this policy, and the Customer indemnifies Preferium under the Service Terms for claims caused by the use that led to them. We may preserve and disclose information where the law requires it, but this policy gives no general right to monitor the Customer's content.

Enforcement is limited to the affected system and to the authority and access we actually have. Measures taken are documented separately; a case record is not by itself confirmation that external content has been changed.

Suspected unlawful or harmful use can be reported to info@preferium.com. State the URL or domain, what happened, relevant documentation and contact information. We assess the report objectively and proportionately and may ask for more information.
