The health checks find — these items are the most common places the engine fixes. The complete open list of 358 capabilities across 24 areas lives in the capability catalog: 328 capabilities in 23 areas are client-facing. 30 capabilities in 1 area are agency and white-label functions.

Technical foundation
What search engines and models read first. Fixed in the HTML that is served, without anyone changing how the client publishes.

The limit

Some things it never does on its own.

Not because it cannot, but because the cost of getting it wrong is too high for a machine to make the call alone.

Risky fixes are assessed firstRemoving a noindex or a conflicting canonical goes through a safety assessment and is flagged for you.

Why the engine is built this way.

Everything rests on one fact: AI crawlers do not run JavaScript. They read the HTML as it stands. Three ways to deliver a change — follow the request through each of them.

A script is added to every page and rewrites the content when a browser runs it.
The crawler never reaches the change. It reads the HTML before the script has run — and does not run it at all.

The system recognizes which crawler is asking and serves it a separate, pre-rendered HTML.
Two different answers for the same page. The list has to be kept current — a crawler that is not on it falls outside until someone adds it.
Rewriting at the edgeOurs

The HTML is rewritten in the response itself. One CNAME record, no plugin, nothing added to the pages.
One answer for everyone. On a server-rendered page there are no other versions, so there is no detection that can miss.

The comparison is from August 2026 and is based on the vendors' own public documentation. The claim that crawler and human get exactly the same HTML applies to server-rendered sites; if the site is pure JavaScript, dynamic rendering is used.

The shape assistants cite

A model prefers to cite a finished answer.

So the engine can place an answer block at the top of the page — in exactly the form assistants prefer to pull from. It stays off until you enable visible rewrites.

Priority and update frequency can be overridden per page, and thin or private pages are kept out of the map you hand to search engines entirely.
